I googled this problem prior to creating this thread, and it seems that I have a problem with my forum, where every time I click on a forum (e.g. http://ouyaextra.com/forum/forum-3.html ) it goes to the "nothing found" page on my wordpress site. Judging by the searches I have done, there is a problem with my .htaccess file, so I will post it below and see if anyone can help me solve this problem

Hostgator shared accounts are on apache servers and allow mod_rewrite, so I am not sure why this is happening. I AM NOT using any plugins on this site whatsoever, meaning it shouldn't be a problem with Google SEO.

I'm going to guess the issue is with the .htaccess file for your wordpress install in the root. COuld you post it's contents?

I fixed this by just disabling SEF URLs in the settings, although it would be nice to have them.

That MIGHT work. The problem is definitely Wordpress intercepting requests and handling them before hitting the rewrites in the /forum/ directory.
