CloudFlare will help to some extent, but only at DNS level. If they're attacking your server IP address CloudFlare won't help you.

There's not much you can do in a DDoS attack. CloudFlare definitely helps but it won't stop the attack completely.

To try to stop DDoS attacks need to buy the paid plans to CloudFlare and really need a Strong starting to 1GBP / s. Then it would be a good thing a firewall Cisco hardware etc.
