Just checked my site nothing working.
Stuffed something up big time.

Ok new site.
A need some tips on how to edit the htaccess ??
Dude make a plain text file named htaccess.txt
what ever code you want add to it.
Save it,
upload it to your server.
Now after uploading into your root folder, just rename it again to .htaccess.
This is easy way to edit the .htaccess.
You could find a default htaccess.txt in mybb package.

Thanks envira,

This is the code im using.

DirectoryIndex forumdisplay.php?fid=x
x is where i put my forum code in.
Now what part do i put in.
Its the first & only forum the one you get when you start a new mybb forum.
Is this the code i put in. net-forum-2.html

Ok still not sure what iam supposed to put where the x is in the code.so i have put 2 to see if that works.
Now went into file manger, new file direcyory, called my new file htaccess.txt,
Code i put in.DirectoryIndex forumdisplay.php?fid=2

Now where do i find this new file.?
Then when i do find file whsts next?
In that new code where i put 2 is that right?
Huh
