MyBB Community Forums

On my forum, each section is run by a head moderator of the section. How can I make it so the head moderator can ban a certain member from their section or there forum without banning them completely from the forum?

For example: A member is being real annoying and hating a certain television show. Therefore everyone is getting annoyed and also the moderator that owns that forum. How can the moderator ban that user from the section without fully banning their account? Is there a plugin or does it have to be done manually in the ACP?

Let the mod place him in a usergroup that isn't allowed to post/see the forum contents that you do not want him to see,

It takes up some time but if you do it for every forum it will be easy for all moderators on every forum.

Just wanted to see if there was any alternatives?
