When admin disables some function in ACP, for example PMs, users still see this link in their UCP and if they click on it, they receive common message about error (by the way it does not indicate what exactly the cause of error and puts the users in confusion), etc.
I suggest to hide those options for all functions that have been disabled by admin for certain usergroups. For example: PMs, answer in closed thread, attachments, UCP, search, etc.
Another suggestion is to improve the error message (you don't have rights, you are not logged in, etc). It must display exact reason why you can't do certain actions, instead of common error page. For example: "You can't change your signature before you reach 10 posts", etc.
