I had installed MyBB around 15 times now, using FTP method and through my cpanel using softaculous. I have had my provider review the files, etc. and nobody can figure out why the images are not showing. I have customized nothing. This is a straight install. Everything else works fine, but I cannot get the images to appear except as being broken.
I had also tried installing other forums, all with the same problem. Since I prefer this one, I would like to get this working. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this problem?

CHMOD permissions for forum/images/ , forum/images/english (can be 0664 or 0666)
If you go into the Admin CP and go to Tools and Maintenance. The bottom of that page will tell you if you need to CHMOD directories.
The problem is that the images cannot be found.
'Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)'
Are you sure that your images are located here?

All of the required files and directories have the proper CHMOD settings, as per the Tools and Maintenance Section.
Images installed in the correct folder.
Congratulations! No corrupt files have been found on your installation.
All tables have already been converted or are already in UTF-8 format.
Templates checked successfully - no security issues were found!

I had done searches on this site looking for answers before posting, which I probably should of explained that I had already done this. Now this is where I am stuck, because I do not see what else there is. I am wondering if there is a security issue, except why just the images. I can build categories, add users, post, - everything else functions, but not see the images.

P.S. Not to confuse you, all the mucking and advice from others. I had to reinstall it into a folder called forums rather than forum.
^ contact your web host. they are the best people to solve above issue. (should also check .htaccess)
Already did - they looked at everything for 2 days and came back - no idea what is going on. I guess I will not be able to have a forum. Thank you for your help.
thebobo1, I do want to thank you for stopping by the forum. You were correct, the issue was the location. Wordpress was not happy that I was not including the forum under its umbrella. I installed it under the Wordpress folder and my site is again happy, and I am happier. Thank you so much!
