How can i update some of the plugins?
I found a contact us plugin that i need badly!
but its out of version :/
How can i update it so it can work for my forums?
You will need to go to the source where you downloaded it, find the update you would like and upload the update to your FTP. You can also use the default MyBB system, Plugin Updates. ACP > Plugins > Plugin Updates and download the update.

just a simple suggestion related to post #5 (though many are aware of this). windows notepad doesn't
suit well for
php files modification. a special text editor should be used (eg.
notepad plus plus)
