Ok ive made a new file in my file manger.how do i find that file i created.
If you created a file named foorbar.txt in your webroot, then you should be able to access the file at yourdomain.com/foobar.txt

if so, upload your htaccess.txt to forum files folder and rename it to .htaccess

Its the 1st forum so i made it 2.
Still not sure what to do.
This is what ive done so far.
Went to file manger.
Then i created new file called it htaccess.txt
put that code in.
Now where do i find forum files folder to upload it??
It's not htaccess.txt it's JUST
.htaccess
your htaccess.txt file should be in the folder where you have MyBB's index.php, member.php , memberlist.php
and many other php files. and that htaccess.txt file needs to be renamed to .htaccess
