Well that is not the case as I have 2 other forums that function just fine.
Using the same credentials.
I also have a test script that I run outside of mybb and it functions properly and sends email.
maybe you can upload the files your email. maybe it could help.

Ok have figured out what was wrong with the smtp.
Even tho I had the correct credentials it still needed a user name no password even tho hosting service said I didn't.
Now there is a new problem.
Mail is working.
You can send mail to member no problem.
But, if you request password, mass mail, or notifications the mail is getting bounced back as spam. Does anyone know anything about the solution to this issue.

I has something to do with the way the mass mailings and the other notifications are setup.
I have used MX tool box to check and see if domain is blacklisted and it is not.
What is the email template for mass mail and notifications
or you see the provisions of free hosting providers.
how many emails can be sent per minute before they block your email delivery.
My hosting is unlimited on everything.
I need to modify the email template that is being sent.
What folder would I locate the email template
