Whenever I try and backup my DB I get a bunch of spam on my screen.

I also am still getting this error:
Warning [2] Creating default object from empty value - Line: 349

I heard that this error was because of PHP and would be fixed on 1.6.10.
I am on 1.6.10 now and I am still getting it ...

When I try and backup my DB, this is what I get on my screen:

Hoping for some assistance so that I can backup my DB because my domain expires soon. Dodgy
can't you log into web host's panel and take backup of database there ?
did you by any chance not update your (renamed) admin cp folder to the 1.6.10 files?
is mybb 1.6.10 compatable with php 5.4.13, if not this could cause a few problems

Yes it is.

OP, if you need to backup your database I advise you use phpMyAdmin or a similar piece of software designed for such a task. MyBB's backup system isn't entirely reliable.

Alright I will use phpMyAdmin.
I may be being a beta phaggot but is there any way I can get rid of that error at the top of my adminCP?

Or any idea what may be causing it? Because as you said myBB is now compatible with the PHP.

Issue solved.
Sorry for blaming myBB for my stupidity Toungue
If it hits the server limits, there is no much we can do... There are better options for large databases.

I posted some patches for the backup task here:

This is what allows me to keep using the backup task for a 100k posts forum on a shared host for now.
