Hello,

As the title,

Is this possible to move the "images" ; "jscripts" and "uploads" folders outside the MyBB forum root ?

For example :

Current "images" folder link

http://www.example.com/forum/images/

Current "jscripts" folder link

http://www.example.com/forum/jscripts/

Current "uploads" folder link

http://www.example.com/forum/uploads/

Moved "images" folder link

http://static.example.com/assets/images/

Moved "jscripts" folder link

http://static.example.com/assets/jscripts/

Moved "uploads" folder link

http://static.example.com/assets/uploads/

==> What shall I do to move it without any errors and missing ???

Under settings in the admincp you can change the following 2 values to change the upload fields.

Server and Optimization Options
- Uploads Path

User Registration and Profile Options
- Avatar Upload Path

Not sure on the others sorry.

but apparently could use a way to edit PHP with so we do not need to change templates and CSS.

is there a setting in the ACP?

You'll need to make custom edits in the templates and a few changes in core files too. MyBB has taken a few steps to make this easier but still has a few things to accomplish before it's easy as a few settings.
