Basically, it's the colour of forum category and the default thread colour ?

that can be a:link in global.css (admin panel >> themes >> active theme >> global.css >> Edit Stylesheet: Advanced Mode)
eg. a:link {color: #026CB1; text-decoration: none;} (change color to required)
