I recently setup a brand new website/fourms using my older 1.4.15 database. I got the new forums "mybb 1.6" up and running. database works great after I did the upgrade.php.

The problem is whenever I make a change using admin cp. like changing the avatar size and saving. for some reason the setting.php converts back to my older forums setting.php.


Need some help with this one PLEASE..

is the settings.php file not writable?

Yeah its writable... after couple hours also said admin session is invalid when I try and logon to admin CP! Doh

Writable as in CHMOD 777 writable? If not, try it, then revert it to 644
