When a user gets banned, they get removed from all additional user groups.

When they get unbanned, they only get placed in their primary user group.

Would it be possible to make the user stay in the additional user-groups upon being unbanned?


An Example of this would be

Quote:A user named tom is a regular member (Primary GID = 2). They were in the additional user groups 9 13 22

They get banned.

Upon being unbanned they are only in GID = 2.

They would have to manually be added back to groups 9 13 22

That's an nice idea! Sometimes it's really annoying if you go on vacation, request a ban to secure your account and get removed from every additional group.

I hope this will be added to MyBB.

Yeah, this is a well known bug. Hopefully this will be fixed in 1.8.

You can try to see if anyone has reported this as a bug here, if not, then you can try to report it.
