HI guys, All im getting the last days are weird new members,

Since an image says more than words:

[attachment=29192]

it should say: "Nieuwe Member", dutch for new member.

But for some reason those weird names got something else under their name?
Are these bots? spam?

I also notice they have a ICQ number ? Whatever that means..

Is my forum not secure enough?

Spammers. A lot of them register by hand first to bypass protection then let bots take over, which is why you see user titles like "Casino en ligne gratuit" and ICQ numbers.

I recommend combination of StopForumSpam (check E-mail and IP, confidence 30%, failsafe) and Registration Question with unique questions. That should stop them.

Thanks, I installed StopForumSpam and Registration Question as u recommended.
I downloaded the dutch language package aswell, might help too.

Although it had some spelling issues, i was able to fix that myself by editing the dutch files

I hope the spammers stay away now
