Is there a decent plugin out there for MyBB that would assist with sending out a regular newsletter/email to forum members? I would like such a monthly email to highlight the most popular threads of the last month as a means to rekindle interest.

My forum has a considerable number of inactive members and I think a monthly email could re-engage many of them.

You could try the remember us mod; it can be used to send a monthly mass mail.
