Hi

I'm a real newbie with MyBB. And of course I have issues with it now
I've tried to find answers for days now..

1. I managed to install 1.6. It's at the same domain and hosting with my site. It's working ok, but I was wondering should I buy own hosting to it? What do you experts think?

2. I installed also finnish languace pack to it, but now only some
of the text at the front seems to be in finnish and some in english.
Admin area is in english also but it's fine as it is. What should I do?

3. There is places to banners (and logo) but I just didn't find how to insert any?

4. How could (or can) I change colours of the forums first page?

5. From where can I change (or take away) the "Alert" and "Notice" text from the top of the page?

Would love to have the forum up and going and help other mom's soon,
so I would be very happy if someone could help me, please?

1. Depends on traffic on your site and forum. But still - I'd place the site and forum on 1 hosting, better one if your current doesn't make you happy.
2. Find a more complete Finnish language pack or if it's complete, go through your theme's templates to find text which isn't $lang - then put the missing strings into language files.
3. Edit your theme's templates. http://docs.mybb.com/Admin_CP_Templates.html Logo is in header template, banners probably too. Look for "adverts" class in templates to find them.
4. Edit your theme's global.css, change "border", "background" and "color" (font) values.
5. It's either a plugin or code on index template.
