hey guys ok i am having an issue in my forum. i am trying to make guests see the topic of the thread in my forum but when they open them they wont be able to read except if they log in.

ok i edited user groups (guests)

Can view board? yes
Can view threads? no

and in forums permissions

Can view threads? no

i tried that but it wont work the guest dont see anything only the forum no topic

and also i tried user groups guests
Can view threads? no

and in forum permissions
Can view threads? yes

Now the guest can see the topic of the thread and even read what is in it!
i think it a bug or something ?

you can try using this plugin http://mods.mybb.com/mods/view/guests-ca...tiles-only

Check additional usergroups applied. Permissions get inherited from addl usergroups as well.
