Hi everyone!

When someone (even me as an Admin) uploads an attachment to a thread on our Forum (normally a photo)... it works! There's the photo!

But then..... after a few days..... it disappears!

We are then left with the [attachment=161] (etc).

I have searched this forum and Googled but am stumped!

Permissions for uploads are fine - and as stated, the photos are there but then disappear after a few days!

Please help!

does your forum use TapaTalk plugin and do you (users) upload from a mobile
if so, upgrade Tapatalk to latest version.

I do use Tapatalk and on your suggestion have upgraded to the latest version of the plugin.

However, it hasn't fixed the problem. My threads are still full of [attachment=***]

In fact, checking 'Attachments' via the AdminCP, the uploaded attachments have gone from there too!

can you confirm that attachments added from mobile alone are affected - not the normal attachments

One member uploaded via his PC.

I've found a similar thread which mentions Tapatalk, as you suggested.

Is there also an easy way to make the [attachment=***], show their original attachments again?

Im seeing this as well, along with some attachments getting mixed up and showing up in other posts instead of the attachment originally posted.

Update tapatalk and then run the attachments rebuild & recount tool
