I am using steam login but some stuff in MyBB require a password, so is there a plugin that will PM you a password to use it on your account whenever it's needed when you join the forums?

mass PM to certain members or member groups then you can use

No, I mean like an automatic password sender that will send them a random password right after they join.
ACP Configuration > Settings > User Registration and Profile Options
select Send Random Password in the Registration Method dropdown.
