So basically on my forum if you was to hold F5 on a certain thread, it will just count how many times you refreshed the page, and count it as a view.

It's a good way to get your post noticed, but can also be abused. Any helps on how to stop this? Or only allow forum admins to do this?

Errr, i tried doing the same thing, with this post, and it counted all my refreshes as views, so its not only my forum then.

It's how it works in the core of MyBB, I know others have a separate table to count unique views, however MyBB does not yet do this.

Ah, well imma just make my forum "look" popular
