We originally loaded a version of the myBB forum onto our web site a couple of months back and it was working fine. Recently we encountered an error logging in as an administrator where no user could log in as an administrator although they could access the general area (where users with all privileges can log in to) through the same login details. We made no changes to the uploaded files or database tables relating to the forum.
We have tried the following to resolve this issue:
-Cleared cookies/cache in internet history.
-Tried several different browsers, same result each time.
-Cookie settings in ./inc/settings.php are correct.
-Checked server error log.
-Only installed plugins at original installation in January.
-Tried to run again but the next button just reloads the 'welcome to myBB installation wizard' screen each time.
-Searched the community forum for answers but have not found any solution.
Is there any way of resolving this issue? Any further suggestions of things to try would be much appreciated.
