How do i install new points? like whats the process i know how to install it into my file manager but i don't know where to put the files.

Read the readme file in plugin folders:

Quote:Simply upload the contents of the "Upload" folder to the root of your MyBB installation.

Then, activate NewPoints from the Administrator Panel and chmod the backups directory (admin/backups/backupnewpoints).

If you want to activate weekly backups, just enable the "Backup NewPoints" task.

folder upload of the plugin archive consists of newpoints.php file and three sub folders.
upload newpoints.php file to forums root folder where you have global.php, index.php and other php files

follow the structure of the plugin folder to copy contents of three subfolders or drag those directly to forums root folder
