It's a feature on vB (old series) and it's kinda very useful, if you forget your password, you could retrieve a new one, and once you log in with your new password, the forum takes you immediately to the profile page where you can change you randomly generated password to a new one. That way users don't forget to change their automatically generated passwords.

It's actually very useful.

I like the idea of automatically sending them somewhere.
