You may need to change the compatibility in the .php file.

Allows you to show advertisements on selective postcounters (On First post only OR on each post OR after 3 posts OR after 5 posts) to selective Usergroups.
- You can also deny selective Forums to show advertisements there.
- You can also select the Position of those ads (Top right corner OR Top left Corner) on postbit.

Upload the files from the ./inc folder to your inc/plugins folder on your server.

Thanks this one is the one I am looking for but doesn't work. I use 1.6.10

Change the compatibility to 16*
