whenever i am trying to enable seo friendly urls on my site:

getting ERROR 404: this issue solved but read below

still have another query... url is showing as http://studentsuvidha.in/forum/thread-119.html thread-120.html thread-121.html

but not showing topic name like http://studentsuvidha.in/forum/cbse-result.html for above link

You need to rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess

You'll need a plugin such as Google SEO for that.
