You should re-consider. I've found that the combination of plugins provided by Pirata and Labrocca are extremely beneficial.
They offer a lot of plugins that you won't find for free, and is a lot cheaper than commissioning someone to code it for you. They're lifetime subscriptions that are definitely worth it.

I tested it out. The plugin is not complete.
Also the english translation isn't that great either.
A lot of errors. Although I liked the way this plugin looked.

See it this way; what sets your forum apart from everyone else's?
If everything you're using is FREE, it makes it that much easier for someone else to copy/replicate your board.
I have plugin subscriptions, commissioned several exclusive features and continue to develop unique plugins.
Most of which you won't find on MyBB's free or paid plugins.
If you look at every successful big MyBB forum, they all use subscription plugins or commissioned their own work.
If you really don't believe in it; okay, I respect your position.
I'm just trying to shed light towards how to improve your board, improving the experience for the members, and increasing the success of turning into a high traffic forum.
Every successful MyBB forum has spent money. I'm not saying the plugin subscriptions will automatically make your boards successful, but I am saying it's a step in the right direction.
Well I do want some more traffic, and I probably will make a new topic about this soon, because I've done so much customization, using google seo ect.. yet no new members, only bots trying to break trough my security.. lol
But, I will leave my download page idea, I don't realy need it though. I'm just, like u were saying, trying to find a way on how to improve my forum.
This is by far the best forum I've ever made, and I'm proud of it. I finaly got what I always wanted.
A website ( forum ) that looks the way I want it, and can costumize the way I want it ( with the help of you guys ).
I wouldn't mind to spend some money on something, if it is worth it. But I got no knowledge at these things so I won't invest money on something I don't realy understand.
