I'm in the process of ordering an .es domain name but I can't get past these two steps:



I'm not a Spanish citizen I just want the extension for a forum I want to start. The domain will be like youtu.be if it matters.

Nothing we can really do. A l lot of countries do this to protect their domains from being snapped up from foreigners. To do this legally you'll need to find a partner in Spain.

To top it off .es domains can't have whoisguard. And you have to enter your SSN or driver's license. Double whammy.
