Email verifications aren't being sent. My MyBB site is http://www.danielscreations.com/ola/forum/ and I'm trying to use PHP mail.

I tried the PHP test mail file at http://docs.mybb.com/Help-Mail.html and the response was:

Mail was sent by PHP

But I didn't receive an email.

I also tried using SMTP mail and I received these errors:

The SMTP server does not support any of the AUTH methods that MyBB supports

MyBB was unable to authenticate you against the SMTP server

The mail server does not understand the RCPT TO command. Reason: 553 sorry, that domain isn't allowed to be relayed thru this MTA (#5.7.1)

I'm using the same settings that I use in Outlook. The Outlook program works.

Also my hosting company claims there isn't any restrictions on my domain. I'm not sure what to try next.

I ended up creating a new gmail account and was able to finally get it working.

Thanks un4saken for pointing me in the right direction. At first I was bummed that I'd never get it working, but I sat back and was able to figure out a different way to do it.
