Hola, como medidas de seguridad anti-spam tengo instaladas, configuradas y correctamente funcionando (creo):

- Registration Security Question (1.2)
- reCAPTCHA

A pesar de eso, cada 1/2 hora se me registra algún spammer, tengo que estar sin parar eliminándolos y borrando sus mensajes, esto es insostenible.

No sé si será casualidad, pero creo que ha empezado a ocurrir al poco de instalarme el tema Nesil.

He leído por algún sitio que Registration Security Question le funciona de maravilla a la mayoría de gente, y frena en seco el spam, pero que hay otros que a pesar de haberlo instalado siguen obteniendo spammers, nadie sabe por qué.

Yo soy uno de ellos, pero lo peor, lo inexplicable, es que también se salten el reCAPTCHA; ¿cómo es esto posible? ¿No es en teoría el reCAPTCHA un sistema inexpugnable para los spambots?

¿Y qué otras medidas puedo adoptar ahora, para frenar esta locura?

Yes, I have my own set, all of them are in Spanish and most of them about football/soccer.

I also had thought on Signup Questions, I'll try it on 2 or 3 days (now I'm very busy at work), but I'm worried about reCAPTCHA, I thought it was invulnerable.

^ not sure about recaptcha. some have said that keycaptcha is more effective for them

I use more than one mod, but akismet is one of them, and maybe security questions, and change that every week, but finally only use akismet and i have no spamboots since i have this and latest MyBB version.

But as .m. says maybe keycaptcha works fine, who knows, i don't use yet, but if you can see those codes of that plugins, you can see what plugin is more powerfull xD.

^ no doubt, Akismet is powerful but it also bans reliable members on the forum even for posting internal URLs.
