Minimum posts to become a activated member, like make 3 posts to become a member and see the rest of the site. like on vB. they could be locked to just a few threads, like intro, rules, and maybe another thread. make it adjustable to how many posts the admin sets it at, 2 to say 5 posts this way it is not as vB's.

this way the rules on a site would have a reply. not saying they will read them, but if they replied to them, they can not use that excuse of not seeing the rules.

Limit registered user permissions on forum. When they get 5 posts they're promoted to "Activated(?) Group" and see the rest of the site.
