So.. I was merging a database with my forum (a MyBB 1.6.10 database). Entered the database's name, user and password, I then went on to confirm.

My browser crashed and didn't recover recently shut down windows so when I went to restart my merge, I got an error saying the merge system cannot connect to my database.

Can I exit this merge anyhow? :/

perhaps its better to install MyBB forum in your computer (eg. localhost server with XAMPP) and do the merge.
later transfer the merged database to live forum of MyBB.

Good idea but the database would be too large to handle via localhost. :/

^ well, on localhost you can easily change php settings and do the required work!
