I want to change the name of two files on MyBB.

The files are:
showteam.php
stats.php

I want to edit them to something else, for example:
staff.php
statistics.php

Does editing the files directly will do the job or I have to do other edits to another files as well? I don't want to break any features!

As far as I know, you could probably just edit the file names and then update the links throughout your forum (EG: index_boardstats template)... however I am not entirely sure.

Give it a try. Worst thing that happens, it does work and you just revert the template and change the file name back
