nope it says " no orphaned attachments found"

my attachment statistics show attachments but they don't show up in the forum

What happens if you disable all plugins in Settings -> General Configuration? Do they work? Also do they show up in default theme?

I haven't tried to disable any plugins since the attachment issue but i have no major plugins https://docs.google.com/a/strawberricurl...p=drivesdk

You didn't try what I told, please do it or I won't be able to help further. Once again, go to Configuration -> Settings -> General Configuration and set Disable all plugins? to Yes. Upload new attachment and look if it shows in post.
Then switch the theme to default and again look if it shows in post.

Also as I see from screen you use Tapatalk and before you had said that you don't use it. Try deinstalling it and again take a look.

same issue.no attachments displayed on forum

i can't say if they worked on 1.6.10 though but they did work on 1.6.9

i did install tapatalk plugin this morning.it worked fine there registered,setup,uploaded a pic using the app & it displayed fine in the tapatalk app but just a placeholder in the desktop forum view.

no orphaned attachments

deactivated & uninstalled tapatalk - still no images
deactivated all plugins - still no images

have always been using default theme

here posting question now
