in the showcase i saw a thread with just 7 replies but almost 200k views..
it's the most-viewed topic in that forum, look here :

yeah but that's only just 1 topic with such a high number .. all the other threads are having a normal view-number ..

It's not just that thread. Look at the support forums and other random forums. It's random which threads have insanely high view counts.
