How to change trow1 and trow2 instead of a color, a gradient?

I tried adding: url(images/finalsense/trow1_bg.png) top left repeat-x
but no succes.. looked awful :O
I don't know what size the image has to be either.
Anyone knows?

Drop the stinky image and use CSS instead.

Now I need to figure out a good mix of white-grey gradient so it fits in my forum theme
