I have an old customized registration page from a forum, to use the customized registration page from that forum do I just replace the /register.php in FTP?

by default, MyBB does not have a separate file for registration (file like register.php does not exist)
if your customized registration page was coded for MyBB then its code needs to be checked by someone experienced.

Couldn't he just upload the registration page and then make all the links re-direct to his registration.php page instead of the default MyBB one?
