It would be good to have colored usernames as a core feature in 1.8.

Being able to set group permissions to allow only staff or/and upgraded members or everyone to be able to choose a color for their username.

I am personally against this.

I am totally for this, I like the idea and I myself have always wanted it. I use it on my vB3 site as a template edit, but to have it as a core feature in MyBB would be nice.
