try reuploading language files related to admin panel. i.e. /inc/languages/your-language/admin folder

It does not work .. Should I then just take the English language?

^ that's better for the present. may be the language pack you have used is not up to date.

oh, if it is Dutch then language pack should be complete for MyBB 1.6.0 not sure about 1.6.10
