Hi could you help please when uploading avatar I see:
The maximum dimensions for avatars are: 100x100 pixels.
The maximum file size for avatars is 10 KB.
However forum accepts images that is way over the max limits. Why it doesn't cancel upload. Is it normal? I know that you can't upload an image that is bigger than the established limits!
Could you help me please?

Because:
"If your avatar is too large, it will automatically be re-sized."
(notice the line below the avatar upload box)

you try to change the default size. eg 20kb save and change back to 10kb.

No his problem is that when he upload too large avatars (more than permitted size) The forum accepts avatars and as I said that is because of auto re-size feature.
