I am a bit confused about moderation. I am used to Wordpress, where I can set comments to be moved to a moderation queue under certain cirmcumstances.

Is that possible here? e.g. if a link, do not publish. If rude words, spammy words etc, do not publish?

Also, if a post is deleted via moderation, does it vanish completely? I could not see in a deleted list of posts.

Also, if a way to send posts to moderation, is there a way to alert a mod (me) by email?

Maybe I am not thinking "forum" ?

individual forums have moderation options like below
Moderation Options
Yes, moderate new posts
Yes, moderate new threads
Yes, moderate new attachments
Yes, moderate posts after they've been edited

but emailing moderators about the moderation queue is not available by default.

deleted posts are not available for review unless a plugin is used (eg. Undo delete)
