Full Version: Guest message hide once logged in

Hi guys I have this welcome message at my http://letsforum.com and it says

my question is how can I hide it from logged in users I mean once you are logged I want to hide it. Could you help please

If you have this message in the header template I think I can help.

Go to the header template and copy whatever codes you used for the message, then delete them. After it's removed, save the template and open up header_welcomeblock_guest and paste the code you had in the same spot, but in this template.

This way the message will only show up to guests, once they log in so long as it is not in header_welcomeblock_member or just header it will not appear to those logged in.

If you are using a plugin instead of a template modification this won't work. I'd recommend getting a plugin like:

or

http://mods.mybb.com/view/warn-guest

Which do the same thing pretty much.

Thank for your help but the code I want to hide is in the index template
You'd need a plugin for conditional messages.
