do i need to edit rss.php?

i tried the generate syndication in my forum. I input given url in sharpreader ,but the post count always show 0/0.

To generate a RSS link, click on the RSS syndication link at the bottom and apply the proper options.

Have you set the correct url parameters? Are you linking to rss.php instead of syndication.php?

Your url needs to look something like the following:
http://community.mybboard.net/syndication.php?limit=15

guests and accounts pending activation are not allow to view threads and post. Is that a reason for rss syndication failure to work?

Could be. If all of your forums are unviewable, there will simply be no items in the feed.

Your RSS reader would need to support cookies in order to log in to MyBB and get permission to view threads.
