I am moving from vanilla forums. I didn't know whether mybb needs any SEO mods.

I don't want to make much changes on this forum. So i think it will be easier to update. Correct me if i am wrong.

Is it good idea using too many mods?
Will it be easier to update the core of mybb in the future?
Do i need any SEO mod?

using a SEO plugin is not a must, though many prefer some sort of SEO method!
this MyBB community forum uses internal Search Engine Friendly URLs (no plugin is used)

you may have to use about half a dozen to a dozen plugins depending on your forum requirements.
a couple of spam prevention plugins might be necessary !

updating MyBB core system files is not much difficult even if you use (too) many plugins.

Google SEO is a good plugin because it provides you the option to create a sitemap, meta tags, redirect URLs and 404 error pages, not only friendly URLs.
