In the end I don't think it makes any significant difference (specifically SEO-wise). You should just be consistent. If you choose no-www, make sure you redirect www to no-www. Likewise, if you choose www, make sure you redirect no-www to www.
Personally I'd go for no-www. It's just cleaner.
There's not much discussion beyond what Fábio posted above. I personally always use www.
I'm in the no-www camp but always put in redirects for the same reason that Jovan quoted. Whatever you choose, just don't make me retype the URL; that's really annoying.
But yeah, both are correct with redirects.
