Our forum had serious error as stated in previous thread (http://community.mybb.com/thread-142139.html)...

We lost our attachment as a result....

Now we got a mail from hostgator that they will be providing us our backup upto June 30th....

Some of the posts from July 1st to 7th july were needed for us....

We have the existing database (DB without attachment data) now....
We will be getting Old Database (upto 30th June) Within few hours...

Q1. If we are ready to edit the attachment manually, for posts form July 1st to current, Is there anyway to combine the data's... ?

Q2. Is there any possibility to have a dummy forum having posts from July 1st ?

both of above should be possible as you have current database backup and a recent database backup

Well if you have a database and your ftp files (content of upload dir has attachments and avatars, and all upload files, like img or somethig, but there are attachmente too).

you have to go to retore backup and upload files, then go to admincp and management there are tools to verify orphans files and forum restructuration.

About yourr second question, if you have the threads of that date, you can add to your database too, or adding to another database, but you have to make other forum and taken by an url redirected forum, well i think that helps. But you can export that files and make a new ones on you originall db.
