I have made a backup of my (old) forum, now how do I add it to my newer forum?
I.e. I want all the members, post, etc. moved to the new forums I've made; as my older forum was having problems

You can import your backup with your phpmyadmin.

And how do I find that phpmyadmin?

Is the '_vti_cnf' folder relevant in the admin-> 'backup' folder (from old forums)

no, thats a folder generated by your server and has nothing to do with MyBB. PhpMyAdmin is a program that usually comes with most hosts that you can usually find in Cpanel.

Ah I've found the Phpmyadmin, and am working on the whole thing at the moment.
