Im currently running my MyBB forum on my vps which is a ubuntu vps , but everytime I chmod the file it doesnt work it doesnt show anything but in mybb it still says it isnt changed

It depends on what kind of control panel you have. You could use filezilla as an alternative to quicker uploading and easy file managing. In filezilla, you need to right click on the file then click file permissions and set it accordingly.

It never work on FileZilla , I changed hosting it works fine now!
