I'm currently a member on NextGenUpdate and I really like how they have done the Elite members.
When you buy elite,it adds 3 things into your User Control Panel=
The ability to change the color of your username
The ability to change the color of your user rank (the bar that shows their rank)
and the ability to change Their Usertitle.All from the User Control panel.
I wanted the same thing,but I just wanted the option to change the color/add background images to their username.

The plugin can be an attachment to NewPoints,or just make it to where its an option in the user control panel.I'd like to be able to limit the colors they can change their name to.So probably add that in the Settings.If you would like I could probably make a picture of some sort.Maybe make it so I could add up to five or six different colors of my choice.I'd like for them to be able to choose what color they want via,a drop down box.

This wouldn't be hard and if I remember right there may already be a plugin for specific usergroup settings. Either way this would be better as a plugin imo.
