Evening!

I'm having a spot of bother with my forum, it appears that all users that use the forum have the same IP. This is rather annoying since my friend just tried to register and he could not because we have the same IP (which we shouldn't, not in the same house).

I was just wondering if there's a way to change this so that the router's IP is pulled, not a generic one that assigns to all users.

I have scrutinized forum IP's and this has still not done anything.

Is your website behind some sort of reverse proxy? What's the IP address showing as?

I'm not too sure if it's behind a reverse proxy so to say, but we're hosted by NameCheap.

199.188.204.172 is the IP that shows up for both of us.

You might want to contact your host and ask them. That's their IP so it looks like they have a non-standard setup.
